Kylie Jennet Cropper
Multimedia Printmaker | Fine Artist
about.
Kylie Cropper is an artist in the Philadelphia area. Since the beginning of her career, she had a desire to say “something” with her art. Her unwavering hunger to visually represent the things most important to her became clear during her BFA career. Kylie began to use her art to provoke the minds of her viewer on the harsh and beautiful realities of being Black in America. While eliminating ignorance would be ideal, her main goal is to erupt conversations where they would not normally be had.
As a Black woman, Kylie has found strength and community in creating her art. Kylie holds a BFA in Printmaking (with minors in Art History and Ceramics) from New England College (previously New Hampshire Institute of Art). As well as being an artist, Kylie is committed to the enforcement of equity in higher education. She is currently working at Moore College of Art & Design as an Admissions Counselor.
